Castagna Consulting Group provided design and cost analysis and Program Management Services for the development of 48 acres at the Port of Oakland in California. The client intended to build and operate 570,000Sf of distribution space. Sustainable principals including environmental, social and economical components are part of the design and operations of the project. Our project team responded to an RFP put out by the Port of Oakland to develop the last parcel at the port. We were successful in obtaining the rights to the project. The design and approval process began during the summer of 2006 with phase one completion in June of 2008.
